Isaiah 58:12, "And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in."

 

 

The Wind of the Spirit is Beginning to Blow, Will you Respond?

Through the scriptures, the Holy Spirit is pictured in various ways; as a consuming fire, a winnowing fork that divides the wheat from the chaff, a river flowing deep and fast and a comforter and helper. Each of these and many more facets of His character reveals amazing ways in which He touches and works in our lives. The Holy Spirit is what empowers us to do God’s will; what empowers us to go beyond our natural abilities and strengths, to actually reveal the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. But to see this awesome demonstration, we God’s people must simply yield and say yes to His lead.

Yielding to His lead and looking to see what He will do is how we are preparing for the Operation Save America event here in Rochester, New York July 24-31^st. As we ready our hearts, we are seeing a renewed awakening of God’s pastors and people in Rochester, NY. They are awakening to their responsibility for the Least and the most defenseless among us. It seems that the connection between bloodguilt and the problems our city is dealing with and the call of the church to become more that what it is beginning to resonate within the community of faith in Rochester, NY. There is a new realization of the burden of the Lord regarding bloodguilt and a desire to first repent and pray, then to work with Him to see righteousness arise and evil confronted in our city. Anticipation is growing and we believe that the wind of The Holy Spirit is beginning to blow afresh here in Rochester. We are about to see the deception that covers the abortion industry and providers blown away; the Light is arising and beginning to Shine.

“The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 3:8

The wind of God’s Spirit is beginning to blow here in Rochester, NY. Will you allow Him to move you here and participate in OSA/ROC? Make plans now to attend this important event in the Empire State. Come and walk where Charles Finney preached revival and reformation during the dark seasons of slavery in our United States. History was written here in Rochester, a vital stop on the “Underground Railroad and home of former slave and abolitionist leader, Fredrick Douglass. Could it be that Holy Spirit is calling you here and now to make a difference for the sixty children each week that die in the area abortion clinics in Rochester? During his annual January State of the State address, Governor Andrew Cuomo pledged to expand abortion in New York, removing any limitations. Our Governor actually led a pro-abortion cheer during his speech. New York is the antithesis of a State of Refuge-in fact our Governor desires that it become the national champion of abortion. Where else should the saints of God take a stand? Rochester is a microcosm of the state. Rochester boasts six abortion centers located at two Planned Parenthoods, a Freedom of Choice Clinic located in a former elementary school, and two area hospitals and doctor that advertises regularly on television. Each of the providers that work the clinics, their neighborhoods and these facilities will be visited with the Gospel of The Kingdom of God in July. Come and help introduce the gospel of the Kingdom to afresh to the abortion industry in Rochester, NY. “Come and Arise and Shine for Your light has come and the Glory of the Lord is Risen among you!” Isaiah 60:1

Let’s see what God will do!

 We are working to prepare the way, intercessors are praying, the saints are awakening. Churches and pastors are willing to host our rallies and participate with us on the streets. Will you respond to the Spirit’s prompting? Make plans now. Each year our family plans to attend the annual OSA event and each year the Lord has met our need. Friends and supporting churches always respond to our mission support letters in amazing ways. And I’m sure the same will happen as you make your desire and needs known.
