Rescue Rochester National Day of Prayer Gatherings

Observed at Two Times at Two Locations

Nine prayer warriors representing 5 area churches assembled at the this suburban location of the largest abortion provider in the nation. Our focus was the sin of bloodguilt; a sin that has been instrumental in seeing the hand of God's blessings lifted from our nation. Since 1973 over 50 million unborn children have been brutally murdered in "legal abortion clinics" around the nation. Untold millions of women have been scarred emotionally, spiritually and physically. Our medical institutions and thousands of doctors have been ensnared in the culture of death and have been become advocates or worse yet instruments used to deceive and destroy. We gathered read the Offical National Day of Prayer Declaration and Prayer written by Chairwoman Joni Erikson Tada. We then read scriptures regarding bloodguilt and interceded for the remaining hour onsight. Pastor Gary Pfeiffer of Morningstar Christian Fellowship Church led us in a closing prayer.

A.K.A Morris Wortman's Abortion Clinic

Fourteen gathered at Morris and Rebecca Wortman's abortion facility to stand in the gap for against the sin of bloodguilt embraced through the abortions performed at this clinic. We prayed for Dr. and Mrs. Wortman and their staff. That God would visit their consciences and bring revelation and the gist of repentance to their lives. We prayed that the killing would stop at this sight and that the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit would be felt and bring conviction to all that stepped foot on the property. Jerry Crawford read through the blessings and curses listed in Deuteronomy 28 and we interceded for the remaining hour. We again read through the National Day of Prayer declarations and prayer authored by Joni Erikson Tada. We also used a prayer guide as we broke into small teams of intercessors. Present were 14 from 5 area churches.
