"Restoring the Waste Places" Isaiah 58:12

 Purpose Statement

Isaiah 58:12 says, that Christians are to labor to restore the waste places; these are places that sin has bound and defiled. Our culture has a defiled view of life. We as a people are laboring under the national sin of bloodguilt that the deaths of 44 million aborted children have brought upon all, "because you did not hate bloodshed; bloodshed shall pursue you" Ezekiel 35:6. The national sin of abortion calls for national repentance and the church of America must lead the way.

According to our most esteemed educators and many of our nations leaders, life is an accident with no known creator. We as Christians know better and so God requires that we do our best to reveal that source of life to others. That source of life is Jesus Christ the creator and sustainer of life.

Rescue Rochester's purpose is to provide Christians with opportunities to reveal Jesus as the source of life and to proclaim this truth where sin and death do abound. We realize that the solutions our nation is looking for are found in the Gospel, The Lordship of Jesus and the Church taking it proper place of influence in the land. We endeavor to serve the local church by providing training and opportunity for Christians to stand for Life and the Gospel in their local area.
